Bishop’s Cleeve Players has its roots in the Bishop’s Cleeve area, but its members come from all round Cheltenham. The theatre company was formed in 1955, the majority of the membership coming from the “Anvil Players” of Smiths Industries. Our first production was “The Hollow” by Agatha Christie.
As well as major productions, we have been known to participate in One-Act Play Festivals and perform Entertainments in various forms. These have proved to be very popular and are performed at various venues in the county.
The Players are always pleased to welcome new members, both on and off stage. If you would like to find out more, please contact us.
